Having received her schooling in Canada, Ms Mehr Agha acquired an MPhil degree from Institute for the Study of Civilizations, Aga Khan University (ISMC) London, U.K. She is currently working as the Registrar at Ali Institute of Education. Previously she was employed as the Head of Centre for Career Counseling and Job Placement at Lahore College for Women University, where she groomed graduates in capacity building, personality development, and successful employability skills, ‘branding themselves’ as potential employees and how to retain the jobs that they seek in future. She has also served as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Gender and Development Studies at Lahore College for Women University where she taught various courses on Gender.
Mehr has worked as a Corporate Communications trainer for StEPS since 2012 and is currently involved in delivering StEPS training, on Effective Judicial Writing and Communication Skills to Civil Judges, at the Punjab Judicial Academy. She has also conducted StEPS trainings on Business Communication Etiquettes as well as Presentation Skills.
She has worked as an advisor to the Secretary Higher Education Government of Punjab, with the Higher Education Department, in order to set up Career Counseling Office at various Public Sector colleges. Mehr is a Certified Trainer of ILO (UN) on Entrepreneurship (International Training Centre of ILO Turin), Certified Trainer of Active Citizens Program (British Council and Citizenship Foundation, UK) as well as a National Ambassador for Internationalization– UK Inward Mission Program (British Council).
